The person specification states the minimum knowledge, experience and skills required by the Society to enable the person to do this job. When you are completing the application form you should remember that it will be used in assessing who should be shortlisted and invited for an interview. To ensure a fair and equal selection process, candidates will only be considered for shortlisting once they have submitted an application form. Please refer to the person specification and state your reasons for applying for the post, relating your knowledge, experience and skills gained either through work or voluntary activities to the requirements of the job. Although we would like to acknowledge each individual’s returned application form, we are a charity and need to consider the cost of writing to all applicants. Therefore, the Society will only be contacting shortlisted applicants. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted in writing and/or telephone to attend interviews. If you have not been contacted within 3 weeks of the closing date, please assume that you have been unsuccessful. All applications will be kept on file for a period of six months and previous candidates may be contacted with reference to future opportunities.
